On July 25, the Queen of the Lakes Coronation was held at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota Campus with Tara Litwinchuk, Miss Maple Grove, being crowned Queen of the Lakes.

Aquatennial Princesses include: Emily McConkey, Miss Cokato, and Jaclyn Auger, Miss Hutchinson.
The week-long event wrapped up a busy few months for Kremin who also graduated from MAHS in June and participated in a number of parades and functions with Miss Minnewaska before giving up her crown on July 6, but was one she will not soon forget.

"My week at Aquatennial was a lot of fun and was a great experience that I will never forget," she said. "It was an honor to be able to represent my community at the Minneapolis Aquatennial."
