Ed Walhoff, who is helping organize the tour, said there will be between 40-50 Model T's from the three-state area taking part in the event. In fact, Walhoff even said some of the participants may be dressed in clothing reminiscent to the early 1900's when Model T's were the most popular car on the road. The Model T's, which Walhoff said will typically go between 25-30 mph, will be making two major stops in Pope County during the self-guided tour. The first stop will be on Saturday when the group will eat lunch at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood from approximately 12- 2 p.m. On Sunday, the Model T Tour will be returning to Pope County as the group will gather at the Starbuck Community Center beginning at 10:30 a.m. to eat brunch. GRT President Larry Kittelson said Palmer Aaberg and Stanley Syverson will be playing music during the brunch and encourages anyone who would like to get an up close look at a Model T to stop by the community center. "They can certainly come out," he said. "All the Model T's will be parked out in front of the community center." After eating brunch, Kittelson said local Model T owner Larry Noyes will lead the Model T Tour through Hobo Park and the Starbuck City Park to give participants an up close look the Lake Minnewaska area. From there, the Model T Tour will head to Sunburg to check out a local car collection before departing their separate ways.
