In addition to the lowered age requirement to donate blood, appointments to donate can now be made online. To register visit the Web site, www.givebloodgivelife.org, and click on the link "Schedule Appointment."

Anyone who wishes to donate blood during the blood drive is asked to make an appointment by either calling MAHS at 239-48000 or 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.

The local blood drive will be at the Glenwood Lutheran Church on October 21 from 12:30- 6:30 p.m. On October 22 the blood drive will move its headquarters to the Minnewaska Area High School and run from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
