 A new gingerbread house was unveiled at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home recently. The new house was created by Julie Koubsky who estimated the house took around 50 hours to complete. To create just the frosting, Koubsky said she used 50 pounds of powdered sugar and 150 eggs. The gingerbread creation depicts a snow hill and lift with a number of people going up and down the hill. This is the fifth year Koubsky created a gingerbread house after taking a brief hiatus last year. The house will be on display at MLH until the new year.
