Horizon’s III meeting scheduled for Jan. 6

Starbuck community members are invited to the Horizons Action Forum on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home Commons.  A free meal will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Study Circle Presentations at 6:00 p.m. and the discussion of next steps at 6:30 p.m. A stipend will be paid to reimburse parents for child care.

For the past few weeks, Horizons Study Circles have been meeting in various locations to discuss poverty in Starbuck.  During the Forum, facilitators will share key issues they discussed and their major action ideas.  The evening will begin with a meal so anyone interested in hearing the Study Circle presentations is welcome to attend.   All those in attendance will have their name entered into a drawing for one of eight gift baskets to enjoy.
