Thanks to a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council, on July 9 the Summer Reading Program will welcome James Wedgwood, a professional ventriloquist described as "Funnier than your average Dummy!" Wedgwood has been delighting audiences with his fresh and funny programs since 1988.

On July 16 the Summer Reading Program goes local with artist Faythe Mills and author Deb Mercier. Mills and Mercier will get the kids creating with a Story Art project.

The last day of the Summer Reading Program, July 23, is a time full of games, treats and prizes. The program is free, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. To register or for more information, stop by Glenwood Public Library or call 634-3375.
