SACC To Host 'Business After Hours'

The Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce is giving business owners a reason to close up shop a little early on Monday when it hosts the first "Business After Hours" at T. Vincent's.


Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce Director Lori Vaadeland said the event is open to all SACC members as well as anyone who would like more information about becoming a member of the chamber. Vaadeland said the goal of the event will not only be to help bring unity to the community but to help act as a brainstorming of sorts to keep Starbuck growing. The event will also give business owners and workers in the Starbuck area a chance to get to know each other on a more personable level-outside the workplace.

"We feel we are all in such a busy work-mode that we don't have time to talk and get-together," she said.

The SACC "Business After Hours" will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 28, and feature a variety of hors d'oeuvres. The event is free and everyone is invited to attend.
