Gulsvig Productions will provide a variety of video, photography and production services to the community


Owner Brent Gulsvig has extensive experience in video production. He graduated from the Duluth Technical College for broadcast journalism and then worked for a year at the CBS affiliate in Duluth.

He was a news video photographer in Green Bay for five years for a CBS affiliate. He also worked at a WB affiliate in Green Bay for 11 years as assistant chief engineer and in video production.

Gulsvig returned to his roots in Glenwood after the Green Bay WB affiliate was sold. Gulsvig was born in Glenwood and was a member of the first graduating class of Minnewaska Area High School.

Gulsvig said he is glad to be close to friends and family in Glenwood. He likes working in this small-town environment. "We are local, and we take more personal care of things." That is important when handling precious antique photographs.

Gulsvig Productions does video production, commercial productions, video editing, wedding photography and videography, special events, still photography, VHS to DVD conversions, videos for the Web, conversions of 8 mm film to DVDs, touching up old photos, reel to reel audio conversions and passport photos.

Gulsvig employs his fiancee´ Lisa Stallman to help run the office. They dated in high school and reconnected when he returned to Glenwood.

Gulsvig enjoys his work. He said, "We have been busy, but we would like to be busier."

Gulsvig also does some freelance television work for the NFL. He will be working at the pre-game show in Green Bay on Sept. 8.
