Fargo Moorhead Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jane Linde Capistran

Central Square Cultural and Civic Center in Glenwood will present the Fargo Moorhead Youth Symphony Orchestra in concert on Sunday, Feburay 8 at 3:00pm in the historic auditorium. This fantastic group of over 100 talented Senior High musicians will perform a repertoire of classical and popular symphonic music, including an unusual opportunity to hear a Tuba solo. The instruments involved in this symphony orchestra include violins, bass violins, violas, cellos, flutes, piccolos, oboes, clarinets, bass clarinets, bassoons, horns, trumpets, trombones, tuba, timpani/percussion and keyboard. The students are under the direction of Jane Linde Capistran, Assistant Concertmaster of the Fargo Moorhead Symphony and a violinist herself.

Tickets and reserved seating for the concert are available by calling Central Square at 320-634-0400 or toll free at 1-866-497-0400. Admission is only $3 for students of all ages and $15 for adults. There is a family ticket special of 2 adults with 2 or more students for $30.

There will be a pizza party back stage following the concert for all area student musicians to meet the members of the Fargo Moorhead Youth Symphony Orchestra and share their passion for playing their instruments.

This program is made possible in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council with funding from the Minnesota State Legislature.
