Something New At The Library

Beginning Thursday, February 10, 2011, Story Time for preschoolers ages 3 – 5 years will begin at 10:30 a.m.  This program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the library and the world of books.  The children will enjoy crafts, puppets, songs, games and more along with reading a wide variety of books.  Call the library at 634-3375 and register for this fun free program.  Story Time runs every Thursday throughout the school year.

The Brown Bag Book Club meets every last Wednesday of the month at noon to discuss their latest title.  Check with the library for their current book.

Friends of the Glenwood Public Library will host Kathy Sletto, author of Spinning Yarns into Fibers and Stories, on Saturday, March 12th at 10:00 am.   Kathy is the owner of Shepards Bay Farms, home to a diverse flock of fiber-bearing animals nurtured and raised to provide wool for hand-spinners, weavers, and crafters.  Register for this free program at the library March 1st.
